Katura Reynolds received her bachelor’s degree in art from the
University of California at Santa Cruz 1997, and came out of the program with a pronounced fondness for printmaking. She enjoys the direct, blunt quality of carving block prints, as well as the opportunity it provides her to "think backwards" as she draws.

A native of southern California, Katura now lives in Oregon
with her lovely husband and more bicycles
than you can shake a stick at.
